We are not called to raise spiritual children who are clueless about the world they live in. We are called to raise sons and daughters who walk in dominion, who carry both wisdom and wonder, who use the world’s tools for Heaven’s purposes. Let’s stop settling for a version of Christian education that makes students feel like choosing God means giving up everything else.

A lot of teachers feel like they’re no longer respected. Like their work doesn’t matter. There’s so much negativity in the media about schools and education.

To create is to reflect God’s own nature. We are all born with unique gifts, talents and imagination. Our role as parents, teachers and mentors is to help our children discover their gifts, develop them and use them for good.

If we want to future-proof the next generation, we need to change how we approach education from the ground up. Schools must embrace a more holistic philosophy! Academic rigour is important, but it must be balanced with practical skills

Strong foundations don't just happen. They're built intentionally. First at home, then reinforced and expanded through education. If we really care about the future, we need to care about how we're spending those hours now. If we neglect to build good foundations now, we'll end up patching cracks in our broken society for years to come.

By centring the question around problems, we give children permission to think beyond themselves! We teach them to notice the world around them - its beauty, its brokenness and their place in shaping it. This is what education is about!

Education isn't just about covering content. It’s about conversation, creativity, discernment. It’s the teacher who reworks a lesson because they know a specific class or group of students needs something different. It’s the child who struggles through an idea, finally cracking it not because it was easy, but because they have learnt to not give up so easily. You can’t code that. You can’t automate it either.
